About Me
I started my working life as a journalist and while I still have a keen interest in news and current affairs, as I’ve gotten older I have found that I’m more and more inspired to write – in any and every form.
That’s why I’ve taken the step of starting my own business. To make writing central to my work.
Before this, I worked in radio news in Sydney and Perth. I was a reporter with the Seven Network in various locations over six years and then spent a very intense but rewarding 18 months with Today Tonight in Perth. Since 2012, I have lived in the beautiful South West of Western Australia where I’ve been blessed with opportunities as exciting and diverse as commentating on sprint car races, script writing for celebrities, producing TV shows on tarmac car rallying, and wrangling giant crabs while hosting Fresh Escapes on the Cocos Keeling Islands.
I’m married to a wonderful husband, have three children, 19 chickens, and a big, slobbering, badly-behaved dog. And – I very much look forward to working with you.
“Our family dog could genuinely be described as a killing machine.”
